É uma notícia surpreendente: 300 desenhos inéditos de Andy Warhol foram descobertos pelo crítico de arte e curador alemão Daniel Blau. Apesar de serem os trabalhos mais antigos produzidos pelo Warhol, na época recém-formado em um curso de design, são desenhos sofisticados, que lembram o traço de mestres. À primeira vista, o observador poderia até pensar que se trata de estudos feitos por Matisse, ou quem sabe Picasso, Schiele, Klimt, Toulouse-Lautrec...

These things tend to climb to pretty high prices at auction, so this 1970s Guzzini Brumbury table lamp by Luigi Massoni at a low starting price is worth keeping an eye on.

Dating from around 1972 and very much of that era, the lamp has a chrome base, white stem and a light brown plastic shade. There's also a dual switch, so you don't have to illuminate the four (yes, four) bulbs within all at once.

The seller describes this as being in 'very good vintage condition', with no scratches on the shade. It stands around 50cm tall and is currently at £1 with no reserve.

New Brian Viveros Painting: The Blue Rose

Artist Brian Viveros has created a gorgeous new painting for Copro Gallery's David Lynch-inspired show. The exhibition will celebrate the the 20th Anniversary of David Lynch’s film “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me” (the prequel to the landmark television series created by David Lynch and Mark Frost). The show explores the darker side of Twin Peaks. This particular piece, by Viveros, is in his trademark badass style. One can't help but deny the fact that, in this painting, Brazilian model Adriana Lima must have been his muse.
